I need a pump to pump out the bottom of my boat hull. I would need to drill a hole in the battery well to enable a hose to get to the bottom part of the hull. The bottom of the hull is about 130. mm below the battery well. Would this pump be suitable?

Drilling holes in the battery slot is OK if there is no risk of water entering the battery due to the water filling up. It is recommended to lengthen the wires and drill holes in the battery slot
