VEVOR Variable Frequency Drive, 4KW Variable Frequency CNC Drive Inverter Converter, VFD 5.5HP 1 or 3 Phase Input, 3 Phase Output, CNC Motor Inverter Converter for Motor Speed Control
Hey guys, I’ve got 2 phase power on a farm. Can I use one phase to supply the VFD converter to run a 3 phase meat mincer. It’s an induction motor, 5.5HP, 415v 8.2amps.
Cheers
It can run a 3-phase 220 motor, but a contactor cannot be added between the motor and the VFD. It is recommended that you control the signal of the contactor to control the start and stop of the VFD.
Hi there, I just wanted to confirm that I can change the output voltage to a desired voltage and change the frequency independently?
I want to control a 140VDC 200Hz compressor and I would like to know if this VFD is suitable?
Cheers, Alex
No. The output of the inverter can only control three-phase asynchronous, motor can not be used to control DC motors as well as synchronous motors are not controllable. You need to buy a special DC motor controller.
