It’s huge!

My old charcoal lighter had totally fallen apart (basically the plastic handle had melted). I firmly expect this one will perform similarly. It's of roughly stamped sheet steel, so it's a little sharp. It's a good size to get the coals going. It's a little thicker than my old one (maybe 24 ga? Don't have calipers on me). Cheaper than what I could get at the box store. Easy to use and doesn't dent easily. Recommend.

I did get this for my husband. Its huge and very durable. You can find cheaper but I think this one will last a lot longer than the cheap ones. The steel is very thick and the handle is huge. After 3 months of use, it's still holding up beautifully. Get it time for summer months!

I have not had a chance to use this chimney charcoal starter yet but it was easy to put together. A couple screws to tighten the handle onto the cylinder and it was ready to go. The stainless steel feels sturdy and the heat plate is a nice feature so you don’t burn your hands. I plan on ordering some binchotan charcoal so that I can try out the chimney. Hoping ignition is quick and easy. The cc money has lots of airflow holes to allow for venting and easy and quick lighting of the charcoal. I think it will work very well but will need to update the review once I’ve tested it properly. Overall, this looks to be a good chimney starter. It’s not small or compact as the description states. It is quite large as you can see it next to a water bottle. The edges around the openings feel quite sharp however so need to be careful when handling. Best to use gloves but it’s a good value for the price.
