its a motor

when applied to the correct voltage, it goes round and round. It does include an extra set of brushes, which is nice. It is also half the price of name brand motors. Only time will tell if itll last as long as name brand motors.

VEVOR 1/2 Hp DC Motor Rated Speed 1750 RPM 90V

Very nice motor but based on the VEVOR Tap and Dies product I experienced, I decided to open the motor and do an inspection. Good thing I did, the brush holder locking screws were completely loose so I took them from inside and placed them outside. I had to remove the brush holders and align them in line with the rotor. It was off center by a few degrees. The brushes were touching the comutator at an angle - not in line. Now it is as it should be.

So far so good

I purchased this motor to build/set up a disc grinder/sander. I used an existing disc grinder attachment, along with a controller that I purchased at the same time. Everything was easy to set up/wire, and I was pleasantly surprised at the power this motor offers when used as a disc grinder. I gave it 4 stars because not enough time has gone by to make any judgments on the motor's longevity.

High quality, plastic gear

I'm impressed with the build quality. It comes with a planetary gear system. All gears except the 3 nylon gears on the clush as made of metal. I was thinking to purchase some nylon gears from the company just in case but they don't carry them.

High Quality Motor at a Great Price!

I needed a small high torque motor for a watchmaker's lathe and thought I'd give this a try and I'm glad I did. This is a heavy duty high quality motor. It runs strong and quiet. It requires a DC speed control which you can buy on Amazon for about $30. I had to contact the seller and received a speedy response and excellent customer service!

Definitely recommend!

This product was a tank of a motor. It had enough power to accelerate my 180 lb body with ease. I would definitely recommend for anyone trying to convert there bike and or scooter into an electronic version. It would be nice if a diagram was included but, it was a very good product.
