It uses double copper nuts to clear round trip errors.
- Excellent Motor: This CNC engraving machine is equipped with three stepper motors(1.3A; 12V; 0.25 Nm torque) and 775 DC(12-24V) 24V spindle motors with a rotational speed of 10000 r/min. And the engraver supports Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Linux, macOS system, and other software to directly import JPG, BMP, PNG, DXF format files for engraving.
- Upgraded Control Board: The integrated GRBL control features full functionality and stability. And the advantages of the offline controller lies in the following ones: 1. No need to connect to the computer; 2. Arbitrary selection of offline files for engraving. 3. Manually adjust the X, Y, and Z axes position as the engraving starting point, manually turn on or off the spindle.4. High precision: less than 0.003 inches.
- Sturdy Material: The frame is mainly made of aluminum alloy and Bakelite materials, with high strength and precision. The thickened side plates can improve the accuracy of the x-axis. Moreover, it is durable enough to withstand the rigors of all-day use repeatedly.

What is the maximum wood thickness that can be cut with the laser?
It can cut light wood boards of about 3 mm at one time, and the cross-section will have black edges after laser cutting.

Hi I'm 76 yrs old would like to learn to Lazer engrave and to carve soft material, would this machine be O.K. to learn on ? Rgds John T (Feral)
Carving software is provided with the goods. LaserGRBL is used for laser software and Candle is used for tool carving. The common image of laser engraving can be directly carved when it is opened. The Candle software of tool engraving supports the. nc file format of executing G code. You can download ArtCAM software online, convert the image or CAD into G code file, and then use the provided Candle software to realize relief or cutting. The video of machine operation and assembly can be provided for watching and learning.

Just wondering if this will engrave aluminum composite panel for name tags etc.
This spindle has low power and is not suitable for engraving on aluminum plates. However, it can be used for engraving and cutting on softer materials such as plastic, wood, and acrylic.
