I use it to transport refrigerators upright on a tilt trailer. if you cinch it down very tight it is secure. seems to work well. You must be sure to use a self tightening type of D ring / pulley knot to ensure it is as tight as possible. Hardware supplied is not self tightening or very long strapped.
