It has a beautiful tone and really opens the imagination of any musician regardless of age/experience and background. Ultimate teaching tool for young students that are unsure if they want to focus on melody or percussion.

I bought this for my 5 month old Granddaughter. The sound is soft and pleasant and her parents won_ get mad at me for the house! They will enjoy playing it for her too!

Very nice. The cost was awesome. Tones and thickness very good, came with bag as well where others didn't add as part of the order. I love it.

Its very easy to be seduced by the lure of the drums with lots and lots of notes, but in my experience each time they add a note they reduce the tone and sustain for each note.This is for the 8 note, 10inch drum - each note has a really nice, mellow and pure tone with lots of sustain and is a delight to play.I tried the 10 and 11 note versions and the tone quality was very lacking with discordant sounds and uncomfortable resonance.Overall this is a great drum, well worth the cost and good enough quality to be played along with other instruments.

This is a great instrument for seniors. Even if you don't know how to read music, you can find music by numbers. Lots of fun and relaxing sound.
