Nice starter rack
This VEVOR 12U Open Frame Server Rack is interesting. It took me about 2 hours to put together. I decided to use the wheels instead of plopping it on the floor somewhere. It did come with the bolts to mount it to the wall, but I'm not interested in that at this time. Being able to set the depth is interesting, but that makes the shelves a little unstable. I'm going to be setting some PCs on the shelves, so the fact there is no back supports on them it is a little disappointing. That is of course because you can adjust the depth. The only other thing I think I'd like to have seen is locks on at least a set of the wheels. As it is none of them lock.
Good but hard to setup Good but hard to setup
Good but hard to setup
This frame is really good, but please for gods sake change the setup guide the pictures in it are so faded and hard to read. None of the parts are labeled you dont know what is the correct way and the pictures do not help; It was pain to setup and I still have to fix it I have to put the extending rails on the other way I put them backwards because the instructions are garbage.

Solid piece
Perfect for my need. It is able to support quite a bit of load.

Nice portable rack.
This is basically a well-manufactured, but light duty portable rack. The instructions could be much better - the printed version is tiny and badly printed. I was disappointed that Vevor don't seem to have an on-link PDF to look at. I ended up working out some of the assembly from images of similar racks on the internet. Once assembled it works well. It can be assembled with or without castors. The large castors and the overall metal gauges suggest the rack will be able significant loads. The supplied shelves are helpful, but very light-weight. They droop under modest loads (~10 lbs), so I'll need to get some that are more substantial for the rack UPS. Overall, and especially for the price, it's pretty unbeatable!

Great rack for the price
Overall, the rack is great and give it 5 stars for the price. The installation, however, is 2 stars. You first have to use the PDF version of the manual to even figure out what the steps are because the printed manual is of very low quality. While you will eventually figure it out, it is not evident right away and takes some time to determine the proper orientation. There's definitely no way you can use a hand driver to tighten the screws since it is not predrilled/threaded. You may not need an impact wrench depending depending on what type of electric drill you have. The screw heads are like butter and get stripped pretty easy so be careful.

This is a decent rack, especially for how little it cost I can't complain much. Although I'm about to describe what I didn't like about it, I would buy this rack again if I needed a second one. For about a third to a quarter of the cost for something of comparable size elsewhere, it's worth making a few adjustments to make it work. First thing, although this rack is(I think) rated for around 500 pounds, the casters and caster plates don't do well with any real weight. The caster pins and the mounting plate were both bending badly while I was getting it loaded up, and I ended up just removing the casters altogether and bolting the rack to a large 1200lb Harbor Freight furniture moving "skateboard", and it works great. Second thing that I didn't expect but should have, the vertical rails are a bit thinner than the more expensive racks, and bend easily with unsupported cantilevered loads, even light ones. This rack will definitely need server mount rails, or a mixture of the rails and fabricated shelves like I did. It's a pretty solid little rack, and is doing well. I configured mine as 28" depth, so the top cover plate doesn't cover the whole top, but I use the top as a place for my 3D printer enclosure. If you're networking on a budget, this is a good rack to get started.

Well priced for what it is (and really just what I needed)
While it didn't exactly come together without the non-negligible accumulation of a pile of metal shavings rising in elevation each time a bolt would reasonably be expected to pass through the pre-drilled slots from a non-angled trajectory - for what amounts to probably the lowest priced, minimally acceptable 6U rack solution likely to be found this side of a Shandong factory (and must be stated that it was precisely no more/no less thand what i had sought - at a much less than expected price point) m - it gets a 5 star rating despite requiring more effort to get bolted together than any reasonable person is capable of tolerating (and why it gets only 3 stars for being merely adequate in terms of 'quality' and 'features'.). Anyway, here's hoping that it may one day be back in stock, even if still nee3ding a few additional holes poked Into again :)
