I recieved this chuck today, and I'm shocked to say that it does not fit the Vevor Woodworking Lathe. The threads are a different size. I almost damaged my lathe trying to mount this, only to find the threads are much narrower. I find it absurd that Vevor sells a woodworking lathe and a woodworking chuck, but that they don't couple together. There was 0 documentation in the box, and I have no idea whether an adapter exists to mount it. If this issue is not resolved, I will be returning this chuck.

This is a good chuck. However, when purchasing it said the came with an adapter but did specify which one. Turns out it comes with a 1"-8 to 1 1/4" abapter, so I had to buy an additional adapter. So far has been very good. I am turning 14" bowls and it has done well.

I had to send this item back because we ordered the wrong size, but it felt sturdy and would have been great if it we correct. The seller was communicating well to try to resolve the issue but ultimately I ordered the wrong item.

Only used it once so far but smooth and accurate.

I’ve used this chuck to make a bowl and an apple shaped box. It works like I expected, and I like the quantity of extra jaws and inserts that are included. The kit does not include a talon jaw which would be especially useful for beginners, and they are the ones likely to buy this tool. I’m not complaining, just pointing out a way to improve the likelihood of getting good reviews. Thanks for the tool.

I'm very happy with the chuck. I would have liked to have been told that I needed an adaptor to go with it. That would be helpful.

Great value for your money and used as expected

I've been waiting years to turn bowls on a wood lathe. Now in my 70th year I'm having a ball. Wood turning makes more sawdust per board foot than any other shop activity. What a deal!
