I read a lot of reviews for many apple presses. I chose this one because it had good reviews and was already assembled. We used it for apple cider, which I've never made before. It worked wonderfully, and the cider was delicious. If you don't have muscles to turn the press, I wouldn't get it, but I had lots of help to take turns.

Nice sturdy product. Gets the job done. I think we will upgrade to something less.manual next year. We definitely got an arm work out. This isn't rhe best product if you're processing large quantities.

In years past I had fruit go to waist because I just couldn’t use it fast enough. Now I can make sider and nothing is wasted.

Well made press for home gardener or small orchard. Works well and easy to clean. Highly recommend.

I purchased this product to press grapes. My husband and I have been hand pressing our grapes to make fresh squeezed grape juice. We decided to purchase this fruit press to make it a little easier to process our grapes. This press works great. It's exactly as advertised and comes fully assembled. The press is sturdy and is able to extract grape juice easily. I like that this press doesn't require the use of wood blocks or spacers like some of the lesser priced fruit presses. I was able to take it out of the box and start using it.

We have two apple trees and two pear trees. This press is just the right size to process and enjoy the damaged apples and the short-lived pears. We also bought a grinder to place over the press, and the combination works great. Just cut up the apples ( remove the bad parts), and throw the good chunks in the press until pretty full. Pressing is easy with this twist handle, and cleanup is a breeze. We'll be doing this every year, from now on.
