Proper design compared to other versions of this cutter , this one ranks far from average. It makes cutting vinyl flooring very easy. Like a hot knife threw butter it cuts effortlessly

Took a long time before I got to use it but it's great. The blade that comes with it is extremely sharp. It can handle wide planks. It really is good.

In general its a nice heavy duty cutter. It feels solid and not cheap. They could improve on the measuring guide that attaches to the front of the unit, as two of the ones I received had minor damage. First one was returned but kept the second one. Could be a packaging / shipping issue.

Loved it for the basic cuts across the whole board but never did get the \"ripping\" type cuts to work. Also thicker laminated boards it didn't cut as cleanly

leaves a nice clean edge - works very well for big panels.

I have installed laminate floors and even hardwood over the years.  I recently started a new project during which I am installing Vinyl Plank for the first time.  I was not looking forward to the mess that occurs when using power saws to cut the flooring planks and was looking for an alternative when I found the VEVOR floor cutter.  It has been great to crosscut planks to length.  Cutting lengthwise is a little trickier but still works quite well.  The tool is made of thick steel plates that have a thick grey finish.  As it is steel the tool it is quite stable.  The one small issue has to do with the smooth metal base.  When placed on a smooth surface like the new flooring being installed,  the tool can slide around a bit.  I have used a bit of rubberized shelf liner below the tool to eliminate this small problem and protect the new floor at the same time..  A couple additional benefits of the VEVOR cutter is that there is no power tool noise nor is there any sawdust to clean up.  This is a great tool to use!

This is a fantastic cutter. It is very easy to use and cut accurately. The extendable handle made cutting 12MM flooring a breeze. No dust, no mess. I would highly recommend this tool.

Very solid, well built tool for the money. Makes job go a lot faster. Clean end cuts. Linear cuts tend to crack the small side but this can be avoided by taking smaller bites that don't go all the way through.

This makes quick work of wood laminate flooring, and is so much cleaner (both in terms of cut quality and dust) than a saw. I had assumed it would just be good for straight cuts, but it does have space near one end to allow notches to be made. There is some assembly needed, but once done it's quick and easy to set up and use. There is also a safety pin that has to be pulled before the blade will be released - so it's safe to pack, as well as safe to store even where kids might have access (though for safety a responsible user will keep it out of reach of kids at all times anyway). It's very sturdy, doesn't flex, and appears like it should last a long time. I'm looking forward to my next flooring project.

Past cuts I have done almost exclusively using a utility knife and a straight edge. This was nice for batch cuts and made for a nice clean edge. Cutter has a solid construction and should make my next install go a bit faster. I don't particularly rely on machine markings, but I did find it annoying that all the gradations were metric.
