Works great for cleaning items found metal detecting. Gentle on coins and jewelry. A little loud but not a problem.

Easy to use, in spite of somewhat sparse instructions.

Never used on of these products before. Used to clean carbs on my father's 65 Pontiac. Worked great. Was a great timesaver.

I bought this to clean small parts, springs, etc when I clean gun parts and small engine/carburetor parts for my car projects. I put the parts in a small ziplock bag and fill the bag with 1 part cleaner (Simple Green Extreme Aircraft parts cleaner) and 3 parts water. Seal and place the bag in the basket and then fill the parts cleaner up to within about an inch of the top. I set the water temperature to 50C and the timer for 20 minutes. When I'm done, I simply rinse the parts off, and reassemble. For jewelry, I use a couple of drops of dish soap in the bag with the water and follow the same procedure (minus the oiling and reassembling at the end). Great product! I've been using it for about a month now with fantastic results. This saves me from using a lot of solvents and is a lot more environmentally friendly.

I have been using the unit on a constant basis since I purchased it. It has been a remarkable timesaver for me in cleaning small parts and rescuing rusted hand tools from the dead.I still give this a five star, but the heating system is deficient. Fortunately this is compensated for when the ultrasound is activated, it actually heats the water better than the built in heating element due to the amout of ultrasound energy emmitted by the three transducers.For best results fill the tank with the hottest tap water you can get and place the parts and cleaning solution in a ziplock bag for immersion in the hot water (avoids cleanup from contaminating the machine itself with potentially corrosive liquids like vinegar for rust removal).

Basic instructions with the usual humorous mistranslations, but easy to work out. IE " when the item is smeary of extraordinary dirty" Supplier was helpful when the power cord sent was not the Australian one.

Using the heater to clean old nuts, bolts and fasteners. Works great with the right cleaning solution.
