Well, I wanted a decent can opener to replace the many smaller ones, which all died over the years. Did I get one!! This unit does everything, except it is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Wife won't allow it on the counter so it hides behind it. But this can opener sure works. Have used it a few times and am convinced it will last me many years, even though it is out of sight.
