Vevor makes a great extractor pump at an excellent price.
These guys really know what they're doing on these extraction pumps. They work flawlessly and hold up to all kinds of chemical abuse. I have run oil, brake fluid, dirty water, transmission fluid, coolant, etc. through these without any issues. I like to clean it well after use so it doesn't get gunked up, which probably helps with longevity. I rinse it out with a mild solvent or degreaser and it's good to go for next time. You get a ton of fittings, which is really nice. I haven't used the compressed air fitting on this one yet. I prefer manual mode so I don't have to get my compressor out. Excellent quality that stands tall in comparison with the more expensive brands. Highly recommend.

Nice product
Works nice. Would be better if it came with a better selection of hoses/adaptors for getting into different spots - but that's pretty easy to cobble together for a typical DIYer. Product does a very good job sucking oil/fluids out. I tried it on a differential with 90/140 gear lube and this unit pulled it right out of there. Works way better in pneumatic mode - but it's nice to have the option of a hand pump.

Tubing is barely long enough.
The oil extractor comes with two different extension tubes. The larger extension tube is too big to fit down into the dipstick tube so I'm sure it's meant for gear oil, power steering fluid, radiator fluid, transmission fluid, etcetera. The smaller extension tube does fit down the dipstick tube and it is long enough to reach the bottom of the oil pan on my pickup truck. Unfortunately, the two extension tubes cannot be combined together. My dipstick is 36\" long which leaves me a maximum of 11\" of extra tubing. The main tube is just long enough to allow me to work on my bone stock pickup truck. If I would have a 4x4 truck or taller tires, it probably wouldn't be long enough, so you would probably have to set the vacuum unit up on top of a table or something like that to at least get it up to the bumper height. The main and extension tubes are stiff and fight against you during use. This stiffness makes sense when you are trying to thread the small hose inside of a long metal tube, but for everything else, it is a pain in the butt. Ironically the dedicated brake fluid tube is soft and pliable and plenty long enough. Both extension tubes have a slip fit reducer adapter glued on to them. My smaller extension tube's adapter was loose and had broken glue. I would have preferred having extra adapters to go between the different sizes of the tubing and the main tube should be at least 4 - 5 feet long.

Goodbye oil drain pan!
I am not a fan of changing the oil of yard machinery. Oil drain pans, drips and ultimate messes leave me being somewhat negligent with maintenance. Come to find out there are oil extraction devices available to help with that task, nobody ever told me before but I came across the Vevor system and it's GREAT. Doing a little research I found there are hand pump systems and different styles of pneumatics but many had a larger footprint than what I wanted. The Vevor has a small diameter base, large storage capacity and works via a hand pump or air line. Win, win, win. I needed to get the snowblowers ready for winter so after warming up my Ariens I selected the shorter tube and plugged it into the tank. Took a little effort but resulted in a very tight fit. I connected my air compressor hose to the valve on the tank and then held the suction tube just under the oil dipstick on the machine to catch any drip when I unscrewed the dipstick. As planned, the suction slurped the drip and I then placed the tube down into the engine oil sump. In about 3 minutes total I had more old oil out of the engine than ever before, all without a drop on the floor. I filled the engine with fresh oil and that was it. The tank holds quite a lot so it'll be another 3 or 4 oil changes before I take the tank to my mechanic to properly dispose of the refuse. I don't do oil changes on my vehicles but when I'm due I plan on taking this to the mechanic to have him try it out. I've seen that some shops do oil extraction as a rule now and will be interested to see how much comes out with this method vs draining. The kit comes with enough tubing to get down into truck engines and even if one had to hold the tank I think it could handle some big jobs much easier than convention. Bottom line: well built, quality materials, versatile, no mess, easy to use and I highly recommend it.

Have not used.
Packaging was good. Item appears to be good quality but have not had a chance to use.

Simplify oil change
I use this pump to remove engine oil through the dipstick. Yes, it doesn't complete remove all the oil like you would through the drain plug but it removes 98% of it so it is good enough IMO to drain with the pump in between filter change to same time and mess.

delivered on schedule. put it work right away pulling 30wt oil out of a briggs 5hp on a 30 degree day. the suction lines are a bit stiff but worked perfectly using the hand pump, have not tried compressed air option yet. 1/2 the price of items that do the same job at the local tool store that sells all the imported stuff or even the big auto parts stores that sell item that looks very similar.

If you have a dipstick, you may need this
This is my first time using a vacuum pump to change the oil. I have been changing the oil the traditional way by removing the drain plug for many years. So far, this is a really good option. You don't need to raise the car, which is a much safer way even if you are using ramps. I used a compressor to get the vacuum. It works well, but you need a large enough compressor. I think mine is 4 gallons, and the compressor stayed on, but it worked. There are some improvement that they can make. They have marks that you 1 quart, 2 quarts... These marks are very hard to see, they need to be painted, even a sharpie would help. The suction tube attaches just under the handle, if the handle is not turned, you will drain the oil on the handle. The suction tube also twists on, a counter-clockwise twist to lock it on; this is backwards, in other words, traditional tightening, is now loosening. Overall, it's a good tool, it would not take to much to make it better. Also, I an storing it in the cardboard box it came in, maybe something better would be nice.

Its a great tool, and I have not had any problems with it working on automotive braking systems, and also boat trailers and utility trailers with surge brake systems.

Great Quality!
I really like this fluid extractor as it’s easy to use and holds a lot of fluid, in my case, motor oil. I was debating on manual vs pneumatic, but this one has both, which made it an easy decision. My sealing cap did come with a little crack in the rubber, so I reached out to Vevor and they are sending me a new sealing cap, so they get 5 stars on customer service. They were very responsive. I like that you are able to pour out the oil right into a disposable container. Great value for the quality of this item. This will make changing oil in my power washer and snowblower immensely easier now.
