I have a hard time going up and down steps. I had three steps going down to my shop that were very uncomfortable to use and this rail solved the problem. Easy to install and sturdy. Going to buy one for a friend of mine to keep her from falling.
I used this product (2 of them) as handrails up my front steps. I bought them because they are rather whimsical looking. I didn’t install them, but the man who did said they were the easiest he had installed. They look great.
I was impressed with the quality and sturdiness of this product. We put it in the center of our stairs so that people could walk up on either side. The anchors are plenty for this job. The same as you would buy from Lowe's or Home Depot.
Job came out perfect. Was used on wooden stairway entering house from garage. It was slightly wobbly so I had to fabricate a brace that I painted black to match. Other than that it is a great rail system.
