Classic \"Peddinghaus\" design, has hardy holes and utility in shaping small projects such as making wrought iron projects, small knives and small swords.....which I am planning to do!

I received the 22 LBS anvil a few days ago . I am very impressed with quality good machining on all surfaces . When striking anvil it rings like a bell ,good sign of quality but it has a 5/8\" Hardy hole and I cant find any tools for that size . I found 1\", 7/8\" 3/4\" no 5/8\" . I really like the anvil . Just as expected. Arrived early.

Anvil in good order as described. Packaging was poor. Two small pieces of plywood in ends of cardboard box did nothing to secure anvil. It allowed anvil to roll around in box. Completely tore the box up. I'm surprised it even arrived.

Just what I was looking for. Some damage on the horn but nothing I couldn't fix. Still waiting on tongs

I've owned several anvils over the years, some larger than this Vevor 66 lb, and some smaller. This anvil is a very handy size. It is large enough to do serious smithing, but also easily portable if I need to move it around the shop. Can't say that about my larger ones. Now, about quality- I have really been on the fence trying to decide on Vevor or some other, more expensive brand. I had heard about Vevor's spotty quality control and didn't know what to expect. Anvil arrived Friday afternoon. I unboxed it immediately. It is beautiful. I cannot say it's perfect, but it is so close. No casting flaws or holes or pits or any of that. Surfaces very well finished so that only a slight easing of the edges is necessary. I could not be more pleased. If you are in the market for a quality anvil in this size range, you will not go wrong with this one. At this writing, Amazon has the best price I found at $119.99. They seem to range from that to about $150. Get you one. You'll love it.
