Solid cart, exactly what I needed. I've been using a landing gear on my 200lbs kayak but it sits so far back that I end up carrying most of the weight up front. With this cart, I can center it and distribute the weight evenly. I weighed the front handle and it's down to 11lbs using this cart. I'm about a 1/2 mile walk on a paved road away from the nearest lake. Time will tell how this cart holds up pulling the yak roundtrip.

While assembling this cart it just continued to grow in size. Once assembled I realized the standard hard wheels would be more practical for my uses. Now I need to determine HOW to haul this unit.

I have tried several low end kayak carts. Sent the last two back, wheels too small for my larger kayak. This one is real quality with large wheels( extra). It works well on larger crafts and sets UP higher! Love it!

This dolly seems well built with an aluminum frame and tight fitting components. The adjustability is great for my old town PDL kayak. Haven’t used it out in the field but wheeling it around the garage was a breeze. I recommend getting the cart under the kayak at about the halfway mark so it’s easier to tow and you’re not holding all the weight up front.

This caddie has reall worked out well. Easy assembly. Light. Very manageable. Really like it. I have a 13 foot kayak and it makes moving it around very easy. Love this product

This is a great dolly for my Porta Bote, it is a quality construction and easy to use on my 10' boat. I can have the motor and all my fishing gear loaded ready to launch.

These wheel sets can be real lifesavers in situations where you have to move your kayak a long way over a parking lot, land, or beach to get to the water. But I have to say the one that I already had works better and is easier to use. I found the pads on the Vevor a little difficult to get aligned where I need them, and still tougher to get them to stay in place -- at least as they come stock. I ended up running a line from the bow of the boat around and underneath to keep the dolly from sliding backwards as I pushed when on a less-than forgiving surface. But it was fine on the parking lot at my local launch area. I also often wish these devices had a more rubberized wheel, if only to make them roll more smoothly. But I'm sure there are weight considerations in doing that (and price considerations). Overall, I found this kayak dolly to be okay in some situations, so I'll keep it around.
