We purchased this for our Christmas trip and it was exactly as described. Easy to assemble, easy to use… a game changer for storage on a road trip!

Assembly required, if you don’t have an electric screwdriver, it’s worth buying one for this. Lots of small screws. Not difficult to assemble, but it takes 1-2 hours.

The cargo carrier arrived in a timely fashion. The assembly was quite an ordeal as the instructions were extremely vague and difficult to follow but once we figured it out and had it assembled it was extremely easy to mount onto the car and load up for our journey.

I bought this one after someone rear ended me at a stop light and bent my steel carrier. So to start, assembly, I read most of the reviews and that seemed to be the one that brought the ratings down. I am 60s years old, and disabled. I was able to but it fully together in about 30 minutes. Yes there are a lot of screws, but all I did was set it on a long folding table and sat in a chair to fully put it together, The directions are very poor, just basically a small picture with a diagram of how to put it together, would appreciate a better set to make assembly a bit easier. It is very well made, and sturdy, fits and holds my Victory 10 Mobility perfectly. I love the tie downs, my old one did not have any, I do wish it gave an options to place the tiedowns in a different location, but still love that it has tie downs. I also love the sides, my original steel carrier only had about a 1 inch side rail, I was always afraid that my scooter would fall off if my straps broke, this one has about a 7 inch side, all around. One of the factors to consider is how high it sits, depending on your vehicle. I have a F-250, non-four wheel drive, and when I installed it, it sat way too high to be able to roll my scooter up the ramp. So if you are going to use it for a mobility scooter carries like I did and have a high sitting vehicle, you will need to get about a 2 inch drop hitch to use, I just added that the other day and it now rolls up to the platform with no issues. The other great feature, is the weight, about 38-40 pounds, my original weighed about 85 pounds, and was very hard for me to move it to one of our other vehicles. Over-all a great purchase.

I have a front hitch receiver mounted on the front of my truck. I put a storage box on it to keep my portable generator in. The hitch anti rattle bracket would have been a nice touch if it were complete ( missing the actual plate and hardware). Outside of that, very good, at least for my needs

Perfect for the job! We have a very large swag that is too hard to get onto roof of car & this made it easy as to go away! Swag fits perfectly & easy to lift onto the rack! Back door still opens & visibility of number plate not impeded. It is quite heavy & will need 2 people to fit to car. Was easy to remove once at destination. No need to leave attached to car. Easy to assemble.

It’s good for storage and very stable. Be sure to purchase the hitch lock which will tighten the rack down and reduce any play/wobble. Serves the needs for extra storage.

The carrier came with everything, cargo netting and a waterproof storage bag with all the straps. Easy to install, sturdy. The only thing I did was paint it with a dull black as both rust preventer and hiding the nuts and bolts.

I used this product in a trip to Mexico in a 3rd gen Tacoma, the product is awesome, the load capacity is great and the rain protection that the bag gives you is very good, I loved the function to fold it when you are not using it. I just install a trailer led lights for more visibility just in case.
