I have been looking for a laser engraver and have not liked the prices. This was in my budget and WAS NOT A MISTAKE. I can do just about any project that i was wanting to do with the laser. It was easily put together and was up and engraving within a hour or so after assembly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone just getting into the hobby like myself.

This is a cheap unit for the size & advertised output power. The cables really need a drag chain to confine them, otherwise they get in the way of the laser & could be burned. (Note that the cables need to be lengthened to install them in a drag chain.) The software appears to be no longer available, i.e. the PC software links do not work. Works with Lightburn & the supplied grbl control board. The laser module (15W) failed after three test runs; still lases, but the power is down to a constant 20%. The laser module was replaced through Vevor quite quickly, which I am very pleased about, despite it arriving with a broken lens; which I then swapped out for the old lens, which worked properly.

This is my first laser engraving machine, and after MUCH effort (over multiple days - with sanity breaks to prevent me from throwing it out a window), I have finally produced my first engraved cutout. This is no thanks to the instruction manuals, which are quite literally the worst I've seen in a long time. There is a YouTube video (by someone not associated with the manufacturer) to help with installation, but it is so zoomed into the detail that it's disorienting and difficult to know which way the pieces actually fit together. That said, I never could have put it together without the video. The accessories are just as bad - if not worse - to set up. Not only does the air assist manual omit critical instructions on how to connect the air tubes, but the package does not include a power adapter to be able to plug it in! Fortunately, I had a 12v power adapter I could use with it. Further, the rotary is currently a paper weight - the manual does not clearly explain how to connect it to the engraving machine (sadly, I'm not an electrical engineer so the electrical diagrams are like hieroglyphics) and I haven't found a YouTube video to help me to get it going yet. I didn't bother with the LaserGRBL software - I'm using the LightBurn free trial. During setup I added a honeycomb bed as well as a vented enclosure to send the burning (toxic) fumes outside. Overall, I'm at least happy that it is working. There will be a big learning curve to produce anything of value. Vevor needs to invest in some better documentation or incentivize some influencers to create some tutorials.

This is the Perfect Beginner Engraving Machine Set. We have set up the engraver earlier tonight & we tested engraving on a few easy things first. It's a little tricky to operate at first. Its important that you follow all directions prior to beginning. Once you start getting the hang of it & you have done It a couple times it becomes easier. (Just like anything else, practice makes perfect). Overall it's a nice quality machine that's also affordable for your average person.

He comprado este equipo, no he tenido la oportunidad de usar el rodillo giratorio. En general funciona correctamente y he realizado cortes en MDF y en otras maderas de 3mm sin problema. Me hubiera gustado que el protector del lase no fuese transparente. sino mas oscuro o con una abertura más pequeña. En general va bien hasta el momento.

Still learning this product but so far so Great! I don't think you can beat this for the price and quality of a 5w table top laser. I love it! Dog tags, slate coasters, wood and more.

This is a great little unit for the price. The assembly of this unit is quite frustrating to say the least. The printed instructions are poor and almost unreadable when it comes to the numbering of the parts. Getting the 4 side rails flat is also frustrating as as soon as you attempt to tighten the allen screw, the frame twists. Once assembled and the software is loaded, it is very straight forward and easy to use. The included software has a very simple interface and works well for engraving. The software only engraves and does not cut unless you are only using a line image. For both engraving and cutting at the same time, i recommend Lightburn.It is not as user friendly and takes some time to learn but if you need to do this, forget Vevorworks and jump straight into Lightburn.

I was a little disappointed with the lack of updates with the tracking of my parcel, it arrived 6 days late with the tracking never being updated. The unit itself was well packaged and solidly made. The assembly instructions were poor, you need to rely on you tube and google to decipher some of the steps. The supplied software is rubbish. Once the assembly adventure was completed and I loaded better software the unit was easy to use, robust, and most of all very fun. I am enjoying the experience and pleasantly surprised with the capabilities of this unit. Well worth the money.

Had a few issues with assembly but only small. Once sorted out I was away. I found the software to be very confusing and then started using GRBL software which I had been using on a laser machine at my Local Mens Shed. Only issue with that was when I do a double run it never starts the second run at the same start point as the first run., better to restart at the same point if you marked it. I am new to using a laser engraver so it has been a big learning curve. Well worth the effort and an exellant price for a first timer as a hobby.

This laser is engraver is ace. Does what its meant to, at a really cheap price. Easy to assemble and engeave with. I had to download additional software to convert exsisting images and some text to Gcode format. But simple enough to do.
