Lots of mist, but generates heat
Produces a large amount of mist, however if you leave it operating in water for an extended period of time (even if it is only on for 30 seconds every 5 minutes), it will heat the water up significantly. Other than that, no problems.

Seems to function well.
I tested it, and it seemed to work well, but my application was deeper than optimal for this item. I searched for a compatible float to keep it at the appropriate depth, and found nothing. I opted to order a 12 head with the float included from another vendor.
