This pump is a 3 phase pump but doesn't say that in the listing just 220 which you could assume is single phase. It comes with a box to convert to single phase but it is just a capacitor to make it work. Running it this way reduces the motors output by 20%-40% and its start up torque by as much as 75%. On single phase this is not a 1.5hp setup. Another problem is the motors check valve if it has one did not work at all for me coupled with the low start up torque made it trip the breaker. I put an inline check valve in my system and that made it use able. it does have good pressure and flow even with its issues. If all of this was addressed in the description I would have given it 5 stars.EDIT: Added a star. The seller contacted me and addressed the issues. We worked out a solution and I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

everything was good

Installed for around 4 months now with no issues. Would recommend.

Price of unit was great. The price of postage not so great. Had to repair the one way valve in the top of the pump. Was not installed into correct seating. On the first use the run dry feature did not activate, how ever I will run the pump a little longer next time to find out if it functions at all. Very easy to use/set up.
