Much better than buying a new seat for what is a perfectly good and somewhat expensive chair. The item is identical to the old mechanism so I only had to make the holes slightly bigger as they're not made to an exact standard.
No issues with product. Was able to install without any problems. My office chair is now operational again and this was a cheap alternative to purchasing a new chair.
