I like this unit better than the more expensive brands. It cut the corners perfectly everytime. The blade is not as sharp as I would like, but it gets the job done.

I came really close to returning this cutter because it shredded the corners when I first used it. The trick is to make sure the blade aligns perfectly against the bottom plate, so that there is no space in between the two pieces. I also had to adjust the guides in order to get just the right smoothness to the corner. The cutter may not be perfectly calibrated right out of the box, and the instructions aren't overly clear about this. I can see how some users got frustrated and sent it back but it does work well once you get everything aligned exactly right. The only problem I'm having is that the corners on the bottom sheet are rough and need to be trimmed with scissors. I'm currently using it to trim laminated postcards in stacks of 8, but I'm sure it will go through several more at a time.The machine comes with a few spare parts but no explanation as to what they're for. Some are obvious, like the allen wrenches, blade and oil, but the others are a mystery to me. I'm also concerned about blade replacement, the instructions don't say where to get replacement parts.

Perfect!!! I purchased one 5+ years ago and wasn't good but this one I love. Fast paced printing store and it gives perfect round corners tried 12 pt cardstock abou a stack of 40 cards and all cards were rounded, tried rounding 7mil. Lamination a d is just excellent.

Cuts like butter

This is my 4th one so far, I still have and use the other 3 daily. I own a vehicle registration business company in Las Vegas NV. We laminate our customers registration certificates and when we first started it left really sharp corners so I trimmed with scissors that didn't go very well it looked sloppy. I found plastic corner cutters next what a joke they are not meant for high volume. Eventually I found this one. WOW what a difference this is pro equipment. Make sure you keep it lubricated and it will last forever. I have also kinda gone OCD with trimming corners, we do all our paper, post it notes, fliers, business cards, and anything else I can find with a corner. Surprised to feel how heavy it was when it arrived. All metal construction with solid base and very good machining for the money. Sure, it's made in China but it seems that quality is improving on many of the things made there.Took a little practice with some scrap paper but got it dialed in within the first 30 minutes. Generally easy to use. Comes with a small tube of oil to keep it lubricated, along with two cutting dies, one narrow for like credit card corners, and one wider for book edges.I'm self publishing my first book and needed a more efficient way to round the corners than doing it by hand. This will fill the bill nicely.

Fantástica herramienta! Me sirvió perfecto para troquelar los bordes de las libretas con más de 100 hojas. Solo un detalle, que no le hace a la herramienta, es que la bola de plastico, se desintegro! Estaba como seco el plastico y se quebro. Pero la herramienta es 100 puntos!
