I use this to seal my surfactant pouches. It's done a good job though the band is starting to wear & fray. I can recommend this for medium usage.

I have sealed around 2000 bags so far and it works well. I have the horizontal model.Make sure to read the instructions, and make adjustments to your needs.If you turn on the machine and it doesn't start, (the model that is equipped with the emergency shut off) you need to turn the knob for it to start. Not sure why the instructions don't mention that.Also, the instructions mention to cool down the machine before shutting it off.I saw alot of complaints about the belts wearing out quickly, so I keep the belt running while it heats up and also when it cools down, and I haven't had any issues so far.Pretty good machine for the price, really speeds up the process.
