Cleaned my 2 story 7" clay chimney with ease. I inserted the rods through the external clean out door which is 1.5 feet of the ground. The rods had to pass through a 90 degree bend before travelling up about 35' to the top of the chimney. I used cordless drill to spin the rods with no issue adding two pole sections at a time. Once at the top, I slowly walked backward while continuing to spin the rods with drill till all of the rods came out then disassembled into 2 rod sections and went back up the chimney. Made 2 full passes and DONE. If the rods ever happen to separate (which is unlikely) everything should fall back down the chimney and not get stuck like a regular brush would. Used to clean the metal piping from the wood stove also, but would advise taking the piping outside first due to the soot cloud the spinning brush creates. Quality seems good especially for the price. The only issue I see is the drill adaptor which could strip out over time. It would be nice if they gave you a extra one or sold it separately just in case. Ordering another set right now to give to my old man for Christmas.

I had gotten several quotes from some local chimney sweeping companies and felt that they we way over priced. With this tool,a couple of hours and a little elbow grease I was able to do the job myself and saved a few hundred dollars

Great design and quality product. So glad to have this chimney cleaner. Makes a dreadful job on the roof in winter to a flat on your feet job from the ground. Cleaned pipe way better than I could have imagined. Fast and quality shipping and I could not ask for more. Thanks

I used this product to clean my 6" stainless steel chimney liner. There is a tight 90 degree turn about 12" inside wall as the pipe turns to go up almost 40 feet.It did a great job cleaning the pipe. Two of the release buttons jammed when attempting to disassemble the rods. Maybe soot got inside the locking buttons?I do have a question of longevity of the product as I found scars on the nylon from the single use of the product. I am sure I can get more uses out of it but not sure as to how many.

Very well made, cleaned my neglected fireplace with ease. Have a helper with a shop vacuum, it rains black soot.

When posed with the choice of paying $300 for someone to clean my chimney or $80 for this product, my husband and I decided to try this ourselves.The product works great! I actually cleaned the chimney from the bottom up. I watched some videos first and found that if I’m not aware of the top of the chimney where the cap is that I could get the bristles stuck.I recommend using one rod at a time and cleaning the bottom section until you don’t see anymore soot dropping from the flue. Add the second rod and clean the section that it reaches and so on until you get to the top.

So impressed by this product! It is very easy to use and does an amazing job of cleaning both my wood burner and regular fireplace chimneys. I can't believe it's this easy; I watched a few videos first to make sure I knew how to contain the mess first. This will be a regular maintenance tool for me and I'm saving a fortune since I have two chimneys to clean each year.

Directions did not state how long you should cut your lines for the different size diameter chimneys. Had to go on line with another company to find some sort of direction to go in the end it did work out fine.

Wish I knew about this product years ago! Never need to over pay a chimney sweep when you can do it yourself from the inside of your home! No climbing on roofs anymore!

Easy to use, good quality, cleared 2feet of bird nest obstruction in heater flu. Didn’t need to call a pro.Taped my cell to a stick to video finished product .All the hay was gone!
