Good product for the money.
I haven't used these for long-term use but they have served the purpose so far. The fittings aren't what you get at the hardware store but any good hydraulic shop will fix you up.I'll be buying more based on previous purchases. I'll update my review if things change.

When I received it I thought no way is that going to hold 20quarts of oil but I was wrong
Works great!!! I installed it with a deep cycle battery on a old flare box wagon to make reaching for wood easy for my wife some of the connections on the factory wires were garbage I had to replace them but I can live with that

Easy peazie!
16 foot dump bed with 6 tons, no problem. Easy to install, directions suck use you tube. Black goes on motor bolt and red on silinoid. Oh, the fitting has to be 18 mm 1.5 pitch so make sure they send you a standard fitting or off to hydraulic store to have adapter made.

Good quality, easy to install for single cylinder application
I bought this for a replacement pump for a dump trailer,I bought a used dump trailer, the pump in it did not work so replaced it with this,it installs very easy and is standard for replacing in dump trailers,I did have to buy a different fitting for the hydraulic hose to connect to on the new pump, wasn't a big deal at all it was standard pipe thread so cost for a elbow was around 6.00 bucks at local hardware store, came wired all I had to do is hook ground and positive battery cables to the pump ,very simple.I end up returning the pump because the trailer I got was junk and it wouldn't lift with much weight in the trailer,I don't believe the issue was the pump I'm pretty certain it was trailer issues,it was originally designed for 1 hydraulic cylinder but someone had switched it out and put 2 on there changing all demographics of the original design of the trailer and that is why it didn't work right for this application,so for and single cylinder trailers this is what u need..David G Hudson,WI

I'll answer all of the questions raised by previous buyers.
First things first, the listing says that it has an SAE #6 output port. What it means is it has a #6 SAE ORB (O-ring boss) output. The confusing part is that there's a #6 ORB male to some sort of female adapter installed in the unit when you get it. Here's what you need to do. Determine what your hydraulic cylinder receives. If you're replacing an old pump, just determine what fitting size the hose you have is. Search online for a combination of adapters/hoses that will let your current hydraulic piston connect to #6 SAE ORB. Also, know that the threads on the unit aren't exactly correct for #6 SAE ORB. It's a tight fit. Don't force it, work it back and forth. If you're building a system from scratch, you'll note that there are two ports on your hydraulic cylinder, and only one on the pump. That's okay. You need to order a breather for the port at the working end of the cylinder (where the shaft comes out of). Just figure out what thread that port is and look for a breather that fits that thread. The reason is that in a single action hydraulic circuit, we rely on gravity to retract the piston. Since we don't want the piston to get full of grit and ruin the seal, we install a breather on the port nearest the extending shaft. Some people have posted comments saying that the implement raises just fine, but falls at free fall. That's down to one of two things. If you only raise the dump bed (or whatever thing) a little bit, you've got a hydraulic piston under the greatest amount of force that it encounters. If you raise it six inches and then lower it, it'll slam down. The piston does most of the work at the beginning for the process and at the end. Also, since this pump is single acting, it relies on bubbles in the hydraulic fluid to prime the cylinder. Each time you raise and lower the implement, more air is driven out in the form of bubbles. So the first time you raise the bed (or whatever) it's got a lot of air in it and will lower quite a lot faster. Just extend and
