This set works great. I did a little customizing by replacing the pole saw head and adding a pole pruner head of Arborist grade to one of the extensions.... Can't beat the price and versatility.....

I found this tool to be just what I wanted for removing limbs from a Red Cedar and opening up our view. The cost was way cheaper than what I was quoted to have a tree service contractor do the work. I used all the extensions to reach the highest limb. I found it's most efficient to saw by standing close to the tree with the pole almost vertical. The biggest branch I cut was about 4 inches thick and required a fair bit of energy on my part to saw through it . The added value of the nice carrying case and saw blade scabbard makes this a practical and affordable kit.

As I said in the headline, I like the way that the sections attach and unattach with this pole. It's very long, so if you have branches that are 25 feet up, you'll be able to reach them. I've used it with every section attached except for one. I like the fact that it is made out of fiberglass, so it would be safer than a metal pole if you are near any power lines. It's a bit wobbly when all or most of the sections are used, but that's to be expected. It's also difficult to lift the pole up in the air when all or most of the sections are attached, but again, you have to realize that a pole this long is going to be somewhat difficult to use. The pruning attachment has a double pullley system which allows you to have more cutting power with less tension on the pulling rope. 1 inch is about the maximum branch diameter that the pruner will cut.

Use this for trimming leaves and seed pods on tall palms. Saves me from paying a pro trimmer that cost me around 500 dollars each time its done.

Natürlich kann dieses Teil nicht so gut schneiden wie eine Kettensäge, sondern wie eine Handsäge. Das versteht sich von alleine. Und ja es ist anstrengend sie zu nutzen, besonders wenn man auf eine Länge von sechs oder 5 m geht. Auch biegt es sich etwas durch, was aber nicht unbedingt von Nachteil ist, da man diese Schwingung beim Segen zu seinem Vorteil umwandeln kann, wenn man den richtigen Takt anwendet. Es ist sehr leicht zusammenzusetzen und der Verschluss ist denkbar einfach aber doch genial und sicher. Dies wirkt wirklich nicht wie ein China Produkt, das lediglich das Original kopiert, sondern wie etwas was recht gut durchdacht ist Auch. Die Ersatzklinge ist eine sehr . Habe die Säge an unserer übergroßen Trauerweide gestutzt, welches natürlich ein recht weiches Holz ist. Aber dafür habe ich’s gekauft und eingesetzt und erfolgreich umgesetzt. Werde sie bestimmt noch öfters nutzen.

This pole is great to reach the lower branches of the trees in my yard that I can no longer reach standing on a ladder. It was so much easier to saw them standing on the ground. I will be trimming more branches and the cost of this pole saw pays for itself in one day compared to hiring a tree service to trim small to medium lower branches. I live in a wooded area and this is a great tool to have. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the blade can get stuck in the branch as it begins to drop, but I was able to remove the blade and continue sawing without too much difficulty.

Fitting what I needed.

I like the way the pieces go together. A good secure fit between the extensions. When using three extensions or less, it's manageable. More than that, it gets heavy. If you have multiple branches to cut from the same tree and you're using 4 or more extensions, cut the top one so the saw will only fall to the next branch instead of all the way to the ground. A few times lifting the saw blade up 20 ft is quite a workout! My saw came with a broken handle on the cutter string. I contacted Vevor customer service with a picture and proof of purchase. I got an immediate response telling me how they were going to rectify the issue, which was to get the part shipped to me. They warned it could take 3 to 5 days. Each day I got an email with a status report. After 5 days, they let me know the part was going to take longer than expected and rather than wait, they wanted to fix the issue by sending me a whole new unit...and I was able to keep the original!
