I have to admit I wasn sure at first but living where there is well water and it has too much iron even with filter and we do not drink our well water. We wanted a good quality water running through our new ice maker fridge even with a filtration system. Love this. Works like a charm we got the one that uses two 5 gallon bottles. Well worth it. Family of 6 where we all use yetis for ice water and we now have unlimited ice and these bottles last us about a month. Highly recommend this system. Awesome. Weather you just want a clean water or you do not want to drill your pipe. You won regret. We have an internal and external filter on the fridge. I so glad my husband found this system. I missed having ice machine In my freezer! Just an awesome system. Fast shipping also. We have had it 2 months already. Love it

Great power from a little water source

Pump works very well, producing clear ice cubes in my extra fridge in garage.Will make around 10 lbs of ice on each catcher full.

I use it for my icemaker. I was surprised how quiet is. I've heard other ones that sound like an air compressor when they are running. This one is much quieter. Very good value.

I bought this 5 gallon water pump for my ice maker / refrigerator water dispenser in 2018. I have well water and I wanted clean, fresh, good tasting water. I just had a problem now (3/2022) and found that someone pulled the siphen hose out of the top plastic piece. I stuck it back in and bled the system and all is well again. I was ready to buy another because it really did what I wanted it to do but no need to now. (TIP) If you buy one, just bleed the system first. It also works with the fridge filter installed.

I have well water at the ranch which doesn’t smell very nice. I installed this pump inside a closet on the other side of the wall, behind the refrigerator. I ran the water line through the wall to feed water from a 5 gallon water jug to the refrigerator. Now I have bottled water coming out of the water dispenser and for the ice maker. Great idea!

Living outside US the tape water cant be trusted, so to use the full features of a Samsung double door refrigerator with an ice make water dispenser feature we purchased this system. I did my research and found most brands are chinnese I said f it and bought this one for price. Arrived in pretty ok conditions box seemed old. installion guide sucked and gave me headaches so had to research and perform different trouble shooting. Most issues are related with air trappped on it so let if filter out and youll get water flowing. Noise wise it is somewhat noisy and thats inside a cabinet so had to make some pads to reduce vibrations and lower to sound bit it is manageable. So I would purchase this if you are willing to DIY the heck out of it.

I liked the fact that all the necessary fittings and literature were available to quickly and effectively set up the system. I had it working in a matter of minutes.
