So I read a few comment before I purchase this demo hammer. Couldn't really believe for a name brand tool this would cost over 1000 dollars normally. It kinda shocked me. I'm not going to say it will knock down a concrete home. But it did impress me. I demo a slab that was 3ft by 5 ft and 12 inches thick. I took two breathers for about 5 mins each and and hour of work and the slab was in pieces. Of course nothing will bet an air hammer in speed. I've used one and they will cut anything in secs. But for a small business owner looking for a demo hammer that's not used everyday or a he owner doing thier own projects. Nothing will bet the price factor. It also came with a second set of brushes so when the first set wears out your good. Remember to check the oil often and tighten all of the bolts on the oil res plate.

I used it to cut 4" concrete slabs. It worked good. I used it for 6 hours continuously .

I used this hammer to break apart an old basketball pole that was set into the ground. This was a 2' x 2' x 2.5' deep chunk of concrete. We got it broke up in about 2-3 hours. This hammer never gave an indication that it was struggling and did an outstanding job. I was a first time user and found it to be very powerful and got the job done. The owners manual was non-existent but you can find out all you need thru You Tube. I highly recommend this item.

I'm digging a pond out of caliche with this hammer. it cuts through the clay like butter. theres no pressure required, just let the weight of the hammer do the work. I'll be digging out a few large tree holes with this too and have no doubt it'll keep going strong. make sure to add oil to the hammer and to grease the bits.

It answered how I am going to deal with coral rock for fence posts.Wish the bits were longer.....or if I had the info on where to buy longer bits.

I have used this now 8-10 times for 3-6 hours at a time to dig holes on soil ranging from just packed clay to solid granite and limestone. It is fantastic. It cuts through the packed dirt like nothing saving tremendous time and with stone it gets you to where it would be impossible without a tool like this. I can't believe they make something like this for homeowners for under $180. I recommend getting the shovel attachment in addition. If you don't get instructions with it (like I didn't) make sure you look it up on the internet and get them. You need to add oil first.
