The steel drum is nice. Louder than what I thought it would be. It came in a nice case with instructions. I am enjoying trying to learn songs and make up my own melodies. A good "first step " instrument.

I liked the number of tones, the size and the value for the price.

My husband plays this like 5 times a day now, he loves it! The sound is soothing and fun. This was his favorite birthday gift! Score! Plus the portable bag really helps because he can play with his family and friends when he wants to. Great quality, sturdy! Mallets are good too! Comes with finger numbs too if you would rather play that way.

The quality of the drum and the case FAR exceeded my expectations for the price. I know nothing about these types of instruments, so I can't comment to the sound quality and other factors I'm sure come into play. This was lightening sale impulse purchase. While I have no musical talent to speak of, most of my family does and I thought the grandkids might enjoy it (they definitely do!) Even without musical talent I find it very relaxing (and wonder if I have more talent than I thought *lol*)

Really nice instrument, fast delivery, and the best price. Glad I selected a 13 note drum. The tones are quite pleasing. Only plays whole notes, no sharps or flats, but you have to compromise somewhere. The kit was very complete with even an extra small kalimba for fun. Very happy with the quality too.

Sounds great. Some of the "key's" seem to have mellowed out as the unit got warm, but it still mostly sounds great. Still have no idea what the black plastic/rubber thingies are for nor what that weirdly shaped piece of wood is for, but I will. One day. Did appreciate the gift Kalumba

I have never played an instrument but I have learned how to play a couple of songs on it.My cats love it

Still portable but large. Nice tones. Going to get a couple of song books. Price point was great. Can refine tuning if pitch is slightly off.

This was a gift for my daughter and she is obsessed with it!! It has the most beautiful sound/tone and is easy to learn how to play. It was a bonus that I could get it in her favorite color ... lots of choices!
