In that regard its great. Very easy to use. Its comfortable enough but with distance riding you start wishing for a better padded seat.
The steering is very nice and causes no issues with my disability and arthritis.
You actually need to be careful cornering to fast as it can tip.
The care in shipping, design, quality, comfort, and pure joy of the ride are unmatched compared to any other traditional bicycle that we've tried before. If you are looking for something fun and casual, this price point can't be beat!
I bought this for my grandmother for exercise and she absolutely loves it. The bike is heavy in the box but when it's together it is manageable (for me, not my 71 year old grandma). It is exactly as depicted. For the price, it is good quality.
We bought this for my son's 10th birthday and he LOVES it. When he has had the opportunity of riding the bike he hasn't stopped riding it. As far as putting it together, he and my husband put it together in about an hour very late at night after his birthday party because he couldn't wait.
This bike is absolutely wonderful! My father has advanced Parkinson's and recently had a stroke. He falls a lot and has a hard time exercising. He cannot drive, and wanted a bike more than anything. Well, there is no way that he could ride a bike, but we knew he needed exercise and wanted some sort of sense of independence. This is PERFECT!
I write this review with tears of joy! My son has been unable to ride a conventional bicycle due to balance issues. With this cycle, he is able to ride around our neighborhood like the other guys.
This is my experience with the Schwinn Meridian 24” adult tricycle.
It arrived at the time promised and the carton was in good condition. There appeared to be no damages to it.
I had set up a table to spread the parts out. It took me about twenty-five minutes to unpack and unwrap each part while spreading them out on the table. The parts were packed better than any other product I have ordered from Amazon. There were no damages to any part nor were there any parts missing.
Shipping was fast and the product arrived in good condition and well packed. It takes two people to assemble and make sure you have time and space to work, plus the tools they recommend.
The instructions are okay but not great. It was challenging to get the backend assembled correctly. I engaged Schwinn support about some adjustment info and they were responsive but not very technically helpful. They advised me to see a local bike shop but the trike is quite large when assembled and I don't have a pickup truck to transport it to a shop. Luckily I managed to fix things myself.
