I purchased a vacuum pump to repair my mini van air conditioner, and purchased this as an extra. I just have to say, boy does this thing tender a cut of meat. I tendered a large beef pot roast with it and it was the tenderest pot roast I have ever seen. Excellent.

It worked exactly as described and did exactly what I thought it would. No surprises. The price was pretty good too.

It comes unassembled with poor instructions . If supplied gasket rings are not placed correctly it will not hold a vacuum . The silicon pad shown doesn't come with the chamber dont know why its in the picture!! If it's supposed to be in there \"I want mine\"

Works really well, didn't come with the mat for in the bottom like in the picture but a piece of kitchen roll does the job so still 5 stars highly recommend

I use chamber vac with this unit. pump would be asier to use. just something for other people to consider.

Received the first order and the heavy glass lid had a large chip on the edge and the gasket had two cuts from impact. It worked well enough but I didn't pay for a broken unit. Contacted the vendor and they agreed to send out a replacement free of charge (as you would expect of great customer service) but did not have to return the original. Overall works well. It would have been nice to see some clamps to secure the lid in place but the lid is heavy enough to seal as long as the gasket that is placed on the rim of the container is in place. Surprised at how much I ended up using this. Good deal at the price I paid for it.

This thing works great! Held a vacuum for over 48 hours with the pump turned off which was very impressive. The lid is heavy duty tempered glass and the fittings/hardware are good quality.

Nicht gerade die billigste Option, dieses Set mit Glasdeckel. Aber ich bin beeindruckt: Die kleine Pumpe (eigene Rezension) hat das Set am 5.12. mittags immerhin auf -0,9 bar gebracht ... und heute, am 7.12. früh, war der Unterdruck noch unverändert. Ich kann nicht verifizieren, wie genau das Manometer ist; aber eines ist sicher: Der Druck bleibt bei geschlossenen Hähnen gleich, obwohl ich die Schrauben alle nur handfest / werkzeuglos angezogen habe.

This is the right size for doing smaller epoxy jobs . Wish they could make a liner that would fit down inside that could be uded for epoxy .
