Assembly was basic. If you know what a zerk is, you can figure this out. Serious positive: The hoses are high quality. The whole unit is actually well built and hasn't shown any functional issues. Why only 4 stars? I really wish it fit standard buckets inside instead of being forced to shovel in from the pail. I freely admit it's a small complaint. As normal, I will update this if anything changes/breaks.

We use a lot of grease and buy it in 30 gallon barrels. For years we've been refilling our guns by sticking them in the barrel and sucking up a new filling. Then cleaning the mess. When this grease gun popped up on Vine........... I grabbed it. I now have someone scoop out 5 gallons at a time (with one mess to clean up) and away we go. The gun works just as you would hope and pulling the barrel around is normally not an issue. We still use handheld for yard work or hard to reach locations, etc.... Overall, we now use this gun about 80% of the time. It's lighter than a cordless gun too. Highly Recommended

Definitely not a heavy duty item. Lightweight plastic. Smaller than I imagined, but did the job. A little over priced for the quality I thought I was getting but if you need to get a job done it worked.

A perfect replacement for my worn out pneumatic gun. I run some heavy equipment. I use a lot of grease. I’m too old to hand pump and in the long run it’s cheaper to buy the grease five gallons at a time. I had concerns about the quality of this gun but it seems to be as good as the one it replaced. So far I don’t find any serious flaws or weaknesses.

This has a solid build and is a great size. I'm really pleased with the design of the handle, because it feels like it will last. I had another grease pump that after just a bit of use failed on me because the handle broke. This one has been holding up well so far. No complaints!

Don't be fooled by the low price, this is a quality air powered grease pump. It comes with everything needed except an air compressor, including a high pressure hose and a gun that can be fitted with grease nozzles. Holds up to 3 gallons of grease, you can fill it with slightly more, but then the pump and lid become difficult to get on the bucket. The bucket is straight all the way down, unlike plastic 5-gallon buckets that are usually slightly tapered. The steel construction is not perfect, but it's plenty sturdy enough. The holes for the casters are not threaded, you put them through and then secure each with a washer and locknut. This makes the base fairly adaptable if you wanted to use different casters. The holes could be drilled slightly larger if needed. The handle comes on backwards for shipping, just remove it, turn around, and re-attach. The piston has a large gasket all the way around. Does a great job squeezing all the grease out cleanly. This is good for greasing heavy machinery, or for refilling hand held grease guns. I have used it for both for several months, everything works great. No complaints. For the price, this is unbeatable.

If you grease up a couple of tractors with a hand grease gun it will certainly bring up the hand cramps. This is great and makes quick work of greasing up all the fittings just before the days work they will be doing.

How did I lubricate my equipment before this? By hand or a push trigger cartridge. This pneumatic grease pump has been a game changer. Makes lubricating machines and bearing a breeze; a serious time saver. Has a good size basin and will last awhile in my garage shop. Assembly was simple, and my 4 gallon compressor does a good job at keeping up. I recommend to those with multiple large machines, cars, bearings, etc to lubricate.
