Well made cutter. As with all equipment, you will have to make adjustments to meet your needs. Once you have it dialed in, the shear works very well. Ideal for small fab shops. I would definitely purchase again

Cuts perfect ,crisp, straight edges in mild steel and aluminum. Much faster,cleaner,and straighter than any other method at this price point.

Good to operate, basic welded construction, unlike some far more expensive units, but still works as it should.. Represents exceptional value, I would recommend to anyone.

This is a game changer for me. I can now get straight cuts in my panels and not my hands. Cutting with a grinder, or saw, left jagged edges that had to be ground smooth. This shear makes nice smooth cuts.

I was really surprised at how well this tool is made. Very solid and carries some weight. I use it to shear thin aluminum sheets and it does so with ease. Makes my job a lot easier. I wish I would have found this tool sooner.

Great big of gear. Solid and straight. Passthrough of large sheets is simple to allow cuts in large stock. The only suggestion I have is when you get it, make a guard to prevent the moving blade from hitting the return spring if the handle is dropped otherwise it leaves a divot in the top of the cutting blade which does not affect the cut, but will scratch the side of the unit.

I have used this mostly for thin stock to date and with limited use it seems to work well. Blades seem sharp and adjusted correctly out of the box. Set up took minimal time. Only draw back is the stop used to provide counter precure to the work. It is well forward and is a single spot which works ok for full sized sheets but has no function with thin strips or bar material. A full length gate style stop would have been much more helpful.

I initially purchased this purelly because I was sick of not being able to cut an accurate straight line through thin guage sheet metal over a short distance (300mm) without having to trim it up afterwards or having a lot of creases a hand shear makes. It does that well with a minimum of distortion , but you do have to be carefull of it's considerable weight if it isn't perminantely located due to space limitations. I have mine mounted to a piece of h/duty angle iron and that is inserted in a stable set of portable jaws ,which slide under a set of storage racks.

No complaints here. Minimal installation required. Cuts metal like butter, at least thin sheet metal that I needed a way to cut straight with. Highly recommended.
