Ive assembled countless items over the years along with cars and other electronics. Immediate assembly of this item produced trash bolts. One set immediately stripped when i got to the first turn of tension. The others looked cheap like the one set that stripped. The item itself looks fine. Vevor i have had luck with other items like their rolling seat etc... i just recommend grade 8 bolts. Ive replaced mine. Not to mention this is a spring compressor i rather not have the weak point be bolts. Granted im sure they are strong enough to hold but at this point i went on and replaced.

It surprised me with the quality for the inexpensive price. Works better than my 800$ professional unit.

This tool is a great add on for any shop. Yes most struts come with new springs on them. But at times you come across cars that you can't find ready struts for so you have to swap over the spring from the old struts that is a very dangerous job. With this tool it keeps the technician out of danger and makes the job quicker and easier.

Tried to use this to change springs on a Sxs. Did not work. Might work fine on car struts. Shipping was very very slow.

Well worth the money. Does the same thing as a Bruswick for much less. Be sure to grease the forcing screw. Only real issue are the knobs as they are a bit cheap and could be much better.

Bent the main arm trying to do Pajero springs. So only good for lighter vehicles. Still amazing for the price though.
