This Lathe is exceptional value for money. It arrived quickly and was packed well. Arrived with a generous coating of grease for protection. This needs to be cleaned off and appropriate lubrication applied. The gear clearance needs to be adjusted and lubricated, this is a simple process. So do the slideways, also very simple. after a bit of preparation mine has runout of approx. 0.001mm this is much better than I expected.
