It is listed as a 4 inch pump. The pump itself is 3 1/2 inches in diameter but it has a rib going up the side from the motor to the top for the wiring. With that rib it was a very tight fit in my 4 inch well. I had to use a hammer and flatten the rib slightly to get it to fit. Other than that it was a fairly easy install. It is a little longer than my old pump so I had to adjust the length of the pipe but that was expected. Pipe threads were the same as the old pump so that was easy and the long power cable meant that I didn't have to do a waterproof splice that would be down in the well possibly in the water. Can't say anything about the longevity as it has only been on line for a couple weeks. It's on an irrigation system and only runs a few hours a day. If it last as long as the pump it replaced (15 years) I will be very happy.

Using the pump in an aerator to get rid of sulfur. Attached the pump, connected the three wires (green is ground) and the pump worked. Seems more efficient than my last pump (different brand). Gets pressure up to 50psi in a few seconds.

I was a little skeptical because of the price and some of the reviews I saw on amazon but this pump has been running strong for several months now. I probably use 1-2 times a week to water my lawn and keep it running non-stop for 4-8hrs straight. I believe its all about how clean you keep the water you are pumping and it should work fine. I ordered another one for my other lawn, price can't be beat. The wires are 18awg which is a little thin but they work. Very happy so far!

Fit great works good so far

So far, so good ! Works good after getting the wiring correct. I thought it came with a plug, but didn’t. Remember, brown wire to black, blue to white, yellow to ground. I placed it in the river to fill my tank and it is pushing water uphill without pressure on the line, slowly but surely. Haven’t used long but we will see how it lasts.

Only used 1 day to clean a drilled well, but worked better than expected for the price. Don't even attempt to read the manual, written in some Asian language and translated with a cheap app. Impossible to understand. Hope the pump continues to impress.
