I feel well qualified to comment on this item as I have a background in electronic power systems. I have owned several inverters in this class and this is definitely the best. Excellent voltage regulation over the whole power range, huge surge capability - will hold a 2X overload for several seconds. Have used it for over a year now and always been totally reliable. Highly recommended. Just note that at full output, the input current from 12V is huge - it is essential to have a very good battery and short thick cables - something like 2AWG, no more than about 1 metre long.

What is the current draw of this inverter when turned off. I understand the current is >1A when turned on but not loaded. If turned off what is the residual draw.
Its current consumption is no more than 1A, about 0.8A. When the product is turned off, no current is generated and there is no loss.
