Why is the CO2 in this 80W rated at 2000-4000 hrs and the other 80W tube is rated at 8000hrs+ ?
Because the lifespan of a laser tube depends on the amount of current and power used. If you keep using the highest power, its lifespan will decrease. But if you use the lowest power, its lifespan will be extended. 2000-4000 hours are calculated based on 60% power.
