Yes, as long as you choose a lime with a diameter less than 85mm, the peel should not be too thick.

Do you have a model for grapefruits?
It should work for small grapefruit. At my produce store, they sell large and small grapefruits. Some of the smaller grapefruits are comparable to oranges in size.
